Vision

Pantygwydr Baptist Church's vision is summed up in our mission statement: “Co-operating with God to create a Christ centred Church family fulfilling our part to care and challenge our city”.

This means that it is our desire to be a community:

where Bible teaching is central in our gathering
that has experienced forgiveness and new life in Christ and is in turn willing to welcome, support and care for its community.
where planning and activities are rooted in prayer and God's Holy Scriptures.
where commitment to active service is developed through a range of midweek small groups and where sharing of our faith is seen as the norm. It is in this that we see ourselves as an outward-looking church.
which identifies, nurtures and encourages a spirit of servanthood amongst its community
that seeks to cultivate links and activities with other churches in our city and with missionary efforts locally, nationally and globally
that takes seriously its responsibilities to meet the needs of students who walk through its doors
that seeks growth in all areas
with inspiration and encouragement to other churches of our Baptist family
