Our Children are an important part of the church. We offer a safe and secure environment for fun as well as learning. We are very much committed to creatively teach God's truths in a relevant and accessible way. We seek to bring children to a place they can belong, believe and grow in their relationship with Jesus and ultimately share Christ with their peers.
Pantygwydr Baptist Church adheres to strict Child Protection Policy based on BUGB's Safe to Grow Guidelines, therefore all our volunteers are carefully screened (CRB).
Sundays
Our Sunday Club services (10.30am and 6.00pm) provide a place for imagination, intriguing and discovery. During these services children of primary age are encouraged to join Sunday Club, where they can enjoy Bible teaching aimed especially for this age group.
We run a range of weekly activities during school term for all ages and details for these are as follows:
Tiny Tots
Tiny Tots is our pre-school children and their carers and this meets every Wednesday between 9.30am and 12pm in the church hall and coffee lounge. Crafts, activities, story time and music is available for those who want to participate. Tea and coffee are served with cake and lunch provided afterwards. This is great place for both little one as well as adults to make friends.
Springers
Springers is for children in years 1-3 and meets Monday evenings between 6.00-7.00. Program includes creative activities, Bible stories and time for prayer.
Spoinks
Spoinks meets Tuesday evenings at 6.30 'til 7.45 and it's for children in years 4-6. Each evening includes creative activities, a short talk based on the Bible and prayer. Tuck shop is open afterwards.
Brownies
